cross country
cross country - Blooming Prairie Recreation Association
For the first time ever, Cross Country running is going to be offered through BPRA. The opportunity is open to all 3rd-6th graders.
It will be held separate from the Varsity 7-12 program, but the participants will have the opportunity to run and compete at a few events. Practices will be held 1-2 times a week after school and there will be 3 meets. Students can be in other fall after- school activities (football, volleyball, etc.) and still participate in this program even if it means missing some practices or meets. We are very flexible and will work with your schedule.
If you have questions, please ask! Practices will be held at the High School and participants will meet at the ticket booth for the Football field. Cost is $25 – Participants will receive a T-Shirt and occasional Gatorade/Popsicle/Snack after a practice/race.
For the meets, all participants will have to find their own ride to the event. Carpooling is an option, but riding the HS team bus is not possible anymore.
If you have any questions, please contact Coach John Bruns at 507-440-1194 or jbruns@blossoms.k12.mn.us.
