Thank you to all BRPA Volunteer Coaches,

Welcome to the Blooming Prairie Recreation Association (BPRA) Youth Sports Program!

We are thrilled to have you join us in shaping a fun, safe, and positive environment for the young athletes in our community. Your commitment to volunteering your time and energy plays a vital role in the success of our programs, and we sincerely thank you for your dedication. Whether this is your first season or your tenth, your leadership helps instill sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence in our youth.

The BPRA recreational programs emphasize skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game. Our goal is to create a positive environment where all participants can learn and grow as athletes and teammates.

Coaches should strive to provide fair and meaningful playing opportunities for every player over the course of the season. Playing time in any individual game is not guaranteed to be equal.

Playing time may be influenced by factors such as:

-Attendance at practices and games
-Effort, attitude, and focus during team activities
-Coachability—listening, following directions, and showing respect
-Sportsmanship and behavior
-Safety considerations, including player readiness and confidence
-Injury, illness, or fatigue
-Game situations appropriate to each player’s development
-While coaches may introduce players to various positions, placement in specific positions will be based on player readiness, safety, and team needs, and is not guaranteed for every participant.

BPRA is committed to ensuring that each child has a fun, developmental, and rewarding recreational sports experience.

To help streamline your experience this season, BPRA uses LeagueApps as our official team and communication management platform. LeagueApps allows you to manage rosters, communicate with families, view schedules, and stay organized throughout the season.

Getting Started with LeagueApps:

  1. Create or Log in to Your Account: Register as a Coach

  2. Access Your Team Dashboard:

    • Once logged in, you’ll see your team(s) listed on your dashboard.

    • Click on your team name to view the roster, schedule, and communications.

  3. Communicate with Families:

    • Use the Messages or Chat feature to send updates, practice changes, or game reminders.

    • You can choose to message individuals, the full team, or guardians only.

  4. Manage Your Schedule:

    • Practice and game times will be added to the schedule.

    • You can view, download, or sync the calendar to your device.

  5. Support and Help:

    • LeagueApps has a great help center at https://support.leagueapps.com
